What inspired you to pursue a serious commitment at your business/art?
When it comes to being an author, writing has always been apart every journey I’ve faced. So it was kind of inevitable. I have encountered healing, spiritual growth and understanding, revelation, and Yah himself through writing. It’s one of my first loves. Whether I write for money or for free, I know writing will always be something I do.
As a candle business owner, I can honestly this was something God gave me and said “hey, this is yours and this is what I want you to do with it.” Even as a form of income, I believe God is very strategic in how he wants me to run it. I love smells. Everybody that knows me know I sniff everything. And candles are a form of therapy for many people. And I’m all about mental health andfinding a safe place to relax and regain strength. Candles help me do that and so many others. So I figured that’s what Two:Twenty-Two will bring. Scents that will be staples and signature in our lives that we run to when our days become overwhelming. Also, Yah says to be the light and salt of the world. That’s where I believe 2:22 stands out. We aim to not only relieve anxiety and stress but bring joy and revelation through this gift of business for others.
How many years have you been in business/in your industry?
Author - 6 years; Candle business - 2 years
How do you wish to serve others through your business/art?
As stated, I believe God specifically gave me the gift of light and joy andencouragement and that’s what I intend to do, no matter where I am. My smile makes others smile. My words bring encouragement and healing. My candles bless other people. It’s not arrogance or cockiness, it’s just faith facts.

What has been the most valuable lesson you've learned since pursuing your goals?
Faith without work truly is nothing. If you don’t have faith to believe it will happen, you will do nothing to prepare or move for what God is bring next. And appreciation for the growth of my gifts. The more you believe in the gift, the more faith you have, the more the vision expands.
What advice would you give to someone who is starting out, just as you were?
Keep going, especially during the times you don’t feel like it. Doesn’t matter who’s watching or not. God is and he’s your diligence and your faith. You have a vision to birth. Labor pains will come but your baby will be born.
