![]() It was a hard decision to choose where to begin in sharing these products. I'm like almost four months in the game now, lol but I figured, "Hey everyone is going to brush their teeth, right?" So in this picture you'll see the last of my Tom's brand toothpaste. Now, don't get me wrong - Tom's is great. But Tom's is also $6 at my local Kroger's. Since being on my natural journey, I haven't used regular toothpaste in years now. That's quite a sacrifice when you've got children and one tube in the store is double or triple a regular tube of toothpaste! You may be wondering, why I became adamant about fluoride free toothpaste.. In general terms, fluoride is a chemical that makes you stupid. My apologies on being so blunt but I'll give you more knowledge on that at the end of the blog. since the purpose is really for me to review the new tooth polish I've been using. First off, I've had the mint and the cinnamon. I totally prefer the cinnamon! Secondly, aside from the price (3 tubes for $10.49) and the taste - my teeth literally "squeak" clean. I was AH-MAZED. I had to check out WHY - you know, that science geek in me! LOL I did a little more research to find out that the toothpaste has a whitening ingredient from the papaya! Yes, papayas have a natural whitening enzyme called papain! If that wasn't enough - check out the other ingredients: T40-C3 Melaleuca Oil "The purest form of this essential oil harvested from only the Melaleuca alternifolia tea tree, this precious extract helps control oral bacteria and freshens breath." Myrrh "This precious resin from certain African and Middle Eastern trees is a natural astringent; traditional medicine has long recognized myrrh for its germ-fighting abilities." Xylitol "Found in the fibers of many fruits and vegetables, this sweetener cannot be fermented by bacteria in the mouth, so it naturally sweetens without contributing to tooth decay the way sugar does." **Descriptions take from product page** And well, if that wasn't enough - I shared it with my extremely picky tween. This was the conversation we had. ![]() Now as for the cinnamon flavor... my son didn't like that one too much and I didn't either. The squeakiness didn't last as long either. But the mint? The mint had me rubbing my tongue across my teeth all day! There were still smooth and squeaky at night and even if I forgot to brush my teeth at night - I woke up still to smooth teeth; not a good smelling breath (ha!) but definitely smooth teeth! LOL And well, that wraps up my first review! OH! NO! So I had a few inquiring about how to get the toothpaste. The price online at Amazon is ridiculous! I saw my 3pack for $30 and just one tube for $9-$11! I wouldn't recommend getting your money taken like that! But here's a little info on fluoride though, just as I said: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/154164.php
